Frequently asked questions
FlexAbilities is an online flexibility training program designed for competitive dancers, figure skaters, and gymnasts. While the program is built with athletes in mind, anyone interested in improving their flexibility is welcome to join.
FlexAbilities offers two membership options: Standard and Premium. Standard is $14.99 monthly or $149.99 annually, while Premium is $19.99 monthly or $199.99 annually. Annual subscriptions offer a discounted rate compared to paying month to month.
Premium is the most comprehensive FlexAbilities membership. It includes guided weekly training plans for every level through FlexAbilities Weekly, along with full access to the video library featuring over 315 videos, curated video series, and hand-picked playlists. Premium is ideal for students who want more structure, direction, and coach-like guidance. Standard includes access to the video library, series, and playlists only, making it a better fit for students who prefer to build their own training plan independently.
The best place to start is with the FlexLab quiz. It is a quick and easy way to identify your current flexibility level so you can choose lessons that are appropriate for your body and training needs. Once you know your level, you can explore videos, series, and playlists that match your goals. If you have a Premium membership, you can also follow FlexAbilities Weekly for more guided, step-by-step direction.
FlexAbilities PRO is a guided flexibility training series that walks you through the essential stretches and skills for each level of the FlexAbilities program, from Level 1 through Level 5. It was created to give students a more structured, progressive way to train and build a strong foundation at every stage. FlexAbilities PRO is now integrated into the FlexAbilities series and playlists, making it easier to follow within the platform.
FlexAbilities Weekly is a guided weekly training plan included with Premium membership. Each week, I personally select lessons for every level to provide more structure, direction, and support inside the FlexAbilities program. It is ideal for students who want a more guided, coach-like training experience without having to build their own plan from scratch.
FlexAbilities typically adds new videos every week, so members can continue training with fresh content and new routines on a regular basis.
For most students, stretching 3 to 5 times per week is a great goal. This gives your body enough consistency to make progress while still allowing time for recovery. Some students may train more often depending on their level, goals, and overall schedule, but consistency matters more than doing long sessions every day. Flexibility tends to improve best when training is done regularly over time.
Yes. FlexAbilities includes beginner-friendly routines and progressive training options designed to help students build a strong foundation. Beginners can start at the appropriate level and advance over time as their flexibility, strength, and control improve.
Yes. FlexAbilities is designed for a wide range of levels, including students who are already flexible. Flexibility is not just about range of motion. It also requires strength, control, technique, and consistency. FlexAbilities offers elite level stretching and conditioning routines that help strengthen the body, improve control, refine advanced skills, and keep your flexibility strong, sharp, and performance-ready.
FlexAbilities primarily uses simple equipment that supports your flexibility training. The main items I recommend are a soft place to stretch, such as carpet or a mat, yoga blocks, stretch bands, including both a physical therapy resistance band and a fabric resistance band with numbered loops, and a small chair or bench. Other helpful tools include a low-density foam roller, a 12-inch yoga ball, a 6-inch yoga ball, a ballet barre, ankle weights, and mini loop resistance bands.
For the best streaming experience, we recommend using a computer or tablet and viewing FlexAbilities in an updated version of Google Chrome, Safari, or another modern browser. Make sure you are connected to a reliable high-speed internet connection. If you are using a mobile device, a strong 5G or LTE data connection may also support better playback. If a video is not loading properly, try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache, since stored cookies and cached data can sometimes interfere with playback. If you are still having trouble, please submit a contact request and we will assist you as soon as possible.
You can cancel your subscription at any time directly from your account. Simply log in, go to My Account, click My Subscriptions, select the plan you want to cancel, and choose Cancel Subscription. The process is quick and easy, and you are always free to manage or cancel your subscription whenever you choose.
